1. Nature of the Service

This bot is an AI assistant that searches the published rulings of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husayni al-Sistani (may his shadow endure). Answers are for guidance and are not a substitute for consulting His Eminence’s Office directly on delicate or novel matters.

2. Approved Sources

Answers are drawn exclusively from His Eminence’s verified works (Minhaj al-Salihin in its corrected edition, al-Masa’il al-Muntakhaba, al-Fatawa al-Muyassara, the Istifta’at, Manasik al-Hajj, Fiqh for Expatriates, Tawdih al-Masa’il, and his annotations on al-Urwa al-Wuthqa) and from his official website sistani.org. The bot never issues its own ijtihad; when no verified text exists it says so and refers you to the Office.

3. Independence and Non-attribution

This service is an independent project by Sadiqoon. It is not affiliated with, nor does it speak for, the Office of Sayyid al-Sistani. The Office has announced that it has no accounts or channels on any social network and that its only official website is sistani.org. Nothing the bot produces may be attributed to the Office except verbatim quotations with their cited source.

4. Data and Privacy

We store your account identifier, preferred language and question history solely to improve the service. See the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page.

5. Acceptable Use

The service is for religious and educational purposes. It may not be used unlawfully, abusively, or to extract system instructions or bypass safeguards. Judicial and sensitive personal matters (divorce, inheritance, blood matters) require direct consultation with the Office.

6. Subscription and Donations

The service is free. An optional subscription raises the limit to fifty questions per hour, and optional donations via Stripe support operation and development. Both are entirely voluntary and grant no privilege in religious content; rulings remain free for everyone. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and end at the close of the paid period.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. Despite our care in quoting sources accurately, we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of a guidance answer without verification with the Office in important matters.
