Data Deletion

You may delete the data stored by the “Sayyid al-Sistani Q&A” bot — on Telegram or WhatsApp — at any time. There are two ways:

1. Self-reset (instant)

Send /reset inside the bot. This clears your language preference and re-enables automatic detection.

2. Full deletion (on request)

To delete all your data (identifier, name, language and question history), email info@sadiqoon.uk including the Telegram ID or WhatsApp number you used. We complete deletion within 30 days at most and confirm it to you. Deletion is free of charge.

What is deleted?

  • Account identifier (Telegram or WhatsApp), username and display name.
  • Stored language preference.
  • The question and answer history linked to your account.
  • Any subscription or support record linked to your account (except anonymised financial records the law requires us to keep).

WhatsApp users

If you reached the service via WhatsApp, both methods above apply to you unchanged; your number is kept only as your session identifier.
